Since August 2020

Assigned to Toyota projects while working at Company A, based out of Irvine, CA. Maintainer of the Regional Content Tool of the toyota.com which has over 25 Million views per month. Among my duties and accomplishments were:

  • User Interfaces – Built the customer facing interfaces related to offers, searching vehicle inventory, and locating dealers.
  • Internal Tools – Maintenance of backend applications. Apps built with Node.JS, React.JS, and TypeScript.
  • Review Offers – Tool for Toyota dealership associations to review upcoming offers.
  • Accessibility – Identifying existing issues, advising on solutions to project managers. Implementation of solutions on the Front-End.
  • buyatoyota.com – As part of a team of 6 developers we updated their website from Angular to ReactJS.
  • Middleware – Updates and maintenance.
  • Adobe Analytics – Implementation and updates.

The tech stack included TypeScript, React.JS, Node.JS, AWS, Jenkins, SonarQube, Vite, Git, etc.

Arcules

March 2018 – October 2019

Software engineer at Arcules, A Canon owned company. Located in Irvine, CA. Maintained microservices such as:

Led the localization of our web portal and our Windows app to Japanese and German.

Built a hardware prototype to test our mobile application being used on remotely.

While contracting for the agency I assisted on web development for multiple clients including

Side Projects

mInformant app

2014: Built a prototype of a mobile app that displayed information about fugitives. Served Riverside County, CA during testing. As part of user testing the product was shown to Riverside Police, California Highway Patrol, and various local residents.

ArticleHop

2013: ArticleHop was a tool to aggregate audio playlists of news articles and other transcribed content. I presented the original concept at TechCrunch NY in 2013
